ya at eeh - Hello in the native Navajo language.
Welcome to the Tohatchi Mission Group Website.
Greetings from the East Coast. My name is Wayne and I live almost 2,000 miles away from the "REZ" but after spending a week there in June 2011 w/ Pastor Aaron and all the great people of Tohatchi, New Mexico I can assure you that my heart is still there today. I love my Native American Heritage (Cherokee on my Fathers side) and since I am unable to move to the Navajo Indian Reservation, I have decided to create this website for all of the Missionaries around the Country that wish to lend a helping hand to the great Navajo people and assisting them in learning more about our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
This website will act as the communication "BRIDGE" between Tohatchi Baptist Church, The Navajo people and the different mission teams across the US that visit Tohatchi each year. It is my prayer that each mission going to Tohatchi will report to me who they met and what all they accomplished on their trip so I may post it here on this website and on our facebook fan page (Tohatchi Mission). This way, Missions that are preparing for their next journey can get an idea as to what is needed before they ever get there, say a week out or even a month out.
If we all work together, we can get more alot more done. I encourage that everyone going on the mission trips get involved here and share their individual stories, testimonies & photos of their unique Tohatchi experience.
Please sign our Guest Book before you leave this website. Tell your Family Friends, Pastors and Neighbors about us. Add us as friends on facebook "Tohatchi Mission" and Thank You for your time in visiting our website. God Bless!
